How can we help you?

If you’re worried about the quality of your tap water, you might want to invest in a water filtration system.

But if you know nothing about water filtration systems, you may not know which one you should buy.

In this post, we’re going to go explore how you can find the best system for your needs, without breaking the bank.

Assess the Quality of Your Water

Different systems remove different contaminants.

If you want to get the best results from a system, you first need to identify which contaminants exist in your water.

Once you’ve figured out which contaminants are in the water, you’ll then know which system is the right option for you.

You can buy a water test to identify contaminants. If you want to be thorough, you can hire a specialist company to test your water.

Be Careful About Who You’re Buying From

When purchasing your water filter, look for one that is endorsed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF).

This due diligence is important because it will help you find a high-quality product. You can find out if a filter is endorsed by the ANSI and NSF by looking for a label or checking the database. If you find a good water filter, but can’t find the right certifications, move onto another model.

You should also make sure you are buying from reputable stores, as this will help you avoid buying fake, replica systems.

Point of Use or Point of Entry Water Filtration System?

When buying a water filtration system, there are two basic options:

A system that is POU is generally a self-contained system for one specific outlet in a room. It might also include portable jugs that have a built-in system.

A POE system, on the other hand, will filter with all of the water that enters a house. This means with a POE system, all the water outlets in a house provide filtered water.

The POE system can be a better option since it is more convenient. But keep in mind that a POE system might cost more money to fix.

Filter Fresh

There are some clear benefits to having a water filtration system in your house but deciding which system you should invest in can be tough.
